Guest guest
I've had yeast issues (mouth, feet, groin, etc.) ever since I've had CFS (1978). Somebody posted a while back that Sac. Boulardii was recommended by Dr. Cheney to help with this issue, and I know that it's been used in Europe for years to help deal with post abx yeast problems. My yeast problem is now 90% cleared up after one month of treatment with the following protocol: 2 FloraStor tablets twice per day 1 Garden of Life Probiotic twice per day I may double this dosage for the next week, just to get rid of the last 10%. I haven't had a pink tongue in 25 years, it looks good (for a tongue) :-) Kat.
Guest guest
Did you start both at once on someone's advice? Do you have a sense which one is stronger? > > I've had yeast issues (mouth, feet, groin, etc.) ever since I've had > CFS (1978). Somebody posted a while back that Sac. Guest guest
I've taken pro-biotics many many times before with no effect. The probiotics are only there to replace the sac. boulardii when it dies off. Sac. Boulardii gets rid of the bad yeast, and then dies off, so you need probiotics to take their place. At least that is the theory. It's definitely the Sac. Boulardii (FloraStor) which is curing my yeast problem. Kat. > > Did you start both at once on someone's advice? Guest guest
THanx. Seems to me its in some formulas but I'll try it. Is that brand supposed to be the best? It seems to have some fillers. I wonder if there is a pure formulation. Thanx again. > > > > Did you start both at once on someone's advice? Guest guest
I chose it because it is stable at room temperature. Sac. Boulardii is very sensitive to temperature changes and quickly becomes ineffective, and I suspect most vitamin suppliers do not realise this. To be safe, I went with FloraStor, that way I knew I was getting a fairly giaranteed potency. Yes, Sac. Boulardii is in some formulas, but you need to take high doses 2-3 times per day for a month to get good results. It's good that you are thorough in your research and questioning. Hope this helps, Kat. > > THanx. Seems to me its in some formulas but I'll try it. Is that brand > supposed to be the best? It seems to have some fillers. I wonder if > there is a pure formulation.
