Hi again Janet,

Cutler has two book out on chelation and there are three

that cover this. Cutler's website is noamalgam.com. To give you a quick idea

of what to do, you have an elemental hair test done by DDI, you apply what is

called, " counting rules " to see if you are mercury toxic. If you still have

amalgams, you have to remove them all before chelating. Once they are removed

you can begin DMSA after 4 days. If you already have had your amalgams out for

at least 3 months you can begin with low dose ALA.

There are other ways to chelate and you will probably get other opinions but

IMHO, this is the best way to go, low-dose.

Hi, Janet.

There is probably more than one approach to chelation that will work.

I suggest reading the consensus position paper of the DAN! project,

located at this website:

http://www.autismwebsite.com/ari/vaccine/heavymetals.pdf

I think it's wise to raise the glutathione level into the normal range

before chelating, to prevent either moving mercury into the brain or

severely depleting glutathione by action of the chelators themselves,

which are able to bind glutathione as well as binding heavy metals.

HI Rich,

Ok I will add this to my reading list. I know I have to get the glutathione

up. Thank you, as always, for your great help.
