Guest guest
Hello, I just got my Natural Killer Cell function test back, and once again it is very low-- 6 -- whereas the normal range is 20-50. I get this test every three years, & my previous ones were 11 and 9. Two months before this last test, I took Cell Forte IP-6 and also AHCC (mushroom complex 500-1000 mg), which are both supposed to raise natural killer cell function. Also, I have been taking low-dose naltrexone for couple years. One thing that may have affected the results is some real bad jaw pain that I've had for the last 11 months which the dentists & the doctors cannot identify as to origin. I will be getting a biopsy in that area next week. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had been able to raise their natural killer cell function by using some medication or supplement. I am concerned because I have had to get 3 basal cell carcinomas excised from my face during the past seven months. Guest guest
HI , are you sure the LDN is helping you? Maybe that is the culprit in the low NK cells. You might try allergy research groups " russian choice immune " --its pieces of the cell walls of a particular lactobacillus, its supposed to boost the immune system. Also if you can afford it freeze dried thymus from atrium-biotech. > > Hello, > I just got my Natural Killer Cell function test back, and once again it is very low-- > 6 -- whereas the normal range is 20-50. > I get this test every three years, & my previous ones were 11 and 9. > Two months before this last test, I took Cell Forte IP-6 and also AHCC (mushroom > complex 500-1000 mg), which are both supposed to raise natural killer cell function. > Also, I have been taking low-dose naltrexone for couple years. > One thing that may have affected the results is some real bad jaw pain that I've had > for the last 11 months which the dentists & the doctors cannot identify as to origin. > I will be getting a biopsy in that area next week. > Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had been able to raise their natural killer cell > function by using some medication or supplement. Guest guest
Transfer Factoir by the U.S. company 4Life has been documented to give natural killer cell function a great boost. Guest guest
So sorry to hear about your situation . My NK cell count was at 2 a year and a half ago. I took Transfer Factor Plus by 4Life, got weekly vitamin/mineral and glutathione IVs for a year and boosted it up to 7. Then I started injectable thymus protocol. It boosted by T cell count but didn't touch my NK cell count. Recently I was set back to 2 NK again after taking equimmune treatments. Best regards, Deb > Also if you can afford it freeze dried thymus from atrium-biotech. >
