Guest guest
Hi Vickie, I may be suggesting something that you have already tried, but I figured I would tell you just in case you haven't. I have struggled with chronic yeast infections for years. When I started breastfeeding my son, I started to get breast yeast infections, which you may or may not know, are difficult to treat. I took a lot of Diflucan, but it kept coming back. The lactation consultant told me to buy Bifidus powder DF. I was already taking a probiotic supplement, but she told me to switch to this. I took it twice a day and was shocked to have my infection clear up. It hasn't bothered me since (I don't know of any time since I got sick that I have gone this long without any yeast problems.) I actually use it for my son whenever he has to take an antibiotic because he used to get awful yeasty rashes and raging diarrhea. He has had none since I started him on it. If you are interested, I can get the name for you. I hope this is helpful. -Dawn > Kathy, thanks for your reply. Guest guest
Hi Dawn-- I'd be interested in the name of it. I'm having so much trouble getting rid of my yeast issues! Guest guest
To kill off yeast specifically you can try: Whey Protein and Coconut oil! Regards CS
Guest guest
Hi Dawn, please send me the name of the Bifidus powder you suggest since it worked for you. I have been taking Diflucan for a long time and I am wondering what it is doing to my liver. I have been considering taking S. boulardi, the product recommended by Cheney. He recommends 3 to 4 pills 3 to 4 times per day along with a good probiotic for 30 days. No doubt the boulardi will be expensive, so I have to work it into my budget. Thanks for your suggestion. Guest guest
Hi Vickie, It is Ethical Nutrients DF. It has to be the powder form of bifidus. It needs to be refridgerated, just to let you know. Hope it helps. -Dawn Hi Dawn, please send me the name of the Bifidus powder you suggest > since it worked for you. Guest guest
I've been on Diflucan for awhile too (actually switched recently to Lamisil pills since the Diflucan was making the klonopin build up) plus amphotericin-B powder and nystatin powder. Do you (or anybody else!) know if these would kill off the s. boulardii before it had a chance to work (since it is yeast also)? Thanks, Trina Vickie <vickie77077@...> wrote: Hi Dawn, please send me the name of the Bifidus powder you suggest since it worked for you. Guest guest
Hi CS-- How do you use the coconut oil and is there a particular brand/type/place to get it? Already doing the whey. Thanks! Guest guest
Trina, you can't take Lamisil, Diflucan or other anti-fungals with the s. boulardii, but antibiotics and probiotics are OK. It is a type of baker's yeast that is very similar to brewer's yeast. I may not be able to tolerate it because I am allergic to yeast. Guest guest
You wont be able to get rid of your yeast problems until you start raising glutathione levels - no matter what treatment route you try. Once you have raised Glutathione you should buy regular coconut oil to eliminate it totally. However this wont be the end of the story as if you have got to the stage where you have candida you will need to use other supplements to rid your body of bacteria/ virus's and parasites also.
