Guest guest
Hi, S. O.K., that all sounds good. It isn't known how MSM is metabolized in the human body. At least some of it must eventually get oxidized to sulfate by the enzyme sulfite oxidase, so it should help to build your plasma sulfate, providing the kidneys don't dump too much of it into the urine. I don't know if MSM will help to build taurine or not. In guinea pigs, some was found to go into protein, perhaps as cysteine or methionine, but it isn't known how it got into those forms. Perhaps bacteria in the guts of the guinea pigs metabolized it. There isn't much known about the biochemistry of MSM, because it is a natural substance, can't be patented, thus there isn't a lot of money in it, and nobody wants to fund research to study it, when there are other things that can potentially produce more profit. Them's the breaks. Rich > > Thanks Rich, having answers is a good thing. > > I just started using soy less than a week ago, after Vrchota pushed > the Meta Clear protocol.
