Guest guest
Hi Ellen, For me, the opposite is true. My tonsils are huge. In fact, if I go to a doctor has not seen me before, I could get a prescription for an antibiotic any time I want based on the look of my tonsils. They are all pocked and gross looking too. I think this is from multiple strep infection as a child as well as multiple mono infections as a teen and young adult. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth! -Dawn Hi Jill,> > Sorry about your demoralizing experience.> > I thought having shrunken tonsils was typical for CFS. I have them. Guest guest
Where are the red crescents? I don't usually examine the back of my throat. > > Hi Jill, > > Sorry about your demoralizing experience. > > I thought having shrunken tonsils was typical for CFS. I have them. Guest guest
They're on each outside of the tonsils, arching upward. Re: shrunken tonsils > Where are the red crescents? I don't usually examine the back of my > throat. >
Guest guest
My tonsils have also shrunken. Don't know when. I noticed this some years ago. Also have crimson crescents. Best wishes. Nil Re: shrunken tonsils > >
Guest guest
Well, I don't even have tonsils, my parents had them removed at age 6 due to recurrent infection. And I have CFS just like everyone else, no better no worse. I doubt this tonsil effect is primary to CFS, just another secondary result. One thought this does trigger though - if the tonsil is shrunken, what about all of our other glands? Is there a systemic gland-shrinking ray being pointed at us by those aliens surfing the contrails.? LOL --Kurt SPAM-MED: Re: Re: shrunken tonsils My tonsils have also shrunken. Don't know when. Guest guest
Thats the point, what is happening to other lymphoid tissue related to b cells? > > Well, I don't even have tonsils, my parents had them removed at age 6 > due to recurrent infection. I had one doctor who was convinced I just needed to get my tonsils removed and that would solve everything--even though they've never been infected. Every time I get a new doctor, they are impressed with my tonsils! I think they were probably always big though, but I don't know.
