My fibro doctor recommends 9-10 mg per night for his patients and it really helped me. I am just curious because I haven't been on melatonin all that long, and like I said, I am breast feeding. I was told there were virtually no side effects to melatonin. Hi Dawn - Like anything, some people will have a reaction to Melatonin. One possible side effect is it can cause some people to become very anxious. Take care.
