Guest guest
Hiya I get l-Tryptophan online at iherb.com or at _www.pathmed.com_ (http://www.pathmed.com) new netrient site. 5-htp is a step away from l-Tryptophan. I have never seen l-Tryptophan in healthfoodstores or at Whole Foods. 5-htp is readily available, but when I tried it many years ago, I did not find it effective. Now, just make yourself a bed time snack.... and get the l-Tryptophan that way. Roast a turkey, no stuffing, but seasonings are OK. Eat about 4 ounces an hour before bedtime. Just a hunk a meat, nothing else. As with SAM-e, l-Tryptophan needs a stomach/ gi tract devoid of any amino acids that may compete for its absorption. mjh In a message dated 3/7/2006 11:56:56 AM Eastern Standard Time, kcapel@... writes: Hi mjh. My brother's father-in-law was one of the folks who was severely affected by one of the bad batches of tryptophan, back in the 80-90s, and I have steered away from even thinking " tryptophan " since then, although I know intellectually that that problem has been dealt with. mjh " The Basil Book " http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
