Hi:

Am so upset my 16 year old granddaughter ran a stop sign Friday night and was

hit by another can. Emergency room Dr. said to put Neosporin on her face and

neck. Both cars totaled and no one hurt except the air bag hit my granddaughter

in the face and she looks terrible. Left side of her cheek and toward her mouth,

chin and a little on her neck are bloody scabs and am concerned about scaring. I

know of vitamin E but does anyone know of anything better?

Thanks,

H.

The best way to prevent scarring is to keep it clean and moist. I don't

know anything about it, but have heard of people having good success with

Mederma (I am not sure if I spelled that right).

If it was my granddaughter, I would be suggesting a visit to a plastic

surgeon. They know all about scaring and how to prevent it.

Hi ,

Yes. Better than vitamin E is alpha-lipoic acid. Empty out fresh capsules of ALA

into moisturizer and leave on the skin. I have seen acne scarrs markedly reduce

with this treatment. Email me privately if you need more details.
