I can't sleep at night so the evening and dawn sleeps are the main sources of sleep for me. Just to mabye suggest a possible similarity. You have to give in and kind of actively go for the one at night, ie feel it come on, get into bed and CRASH! :} It is somewhat easy to plough ahead, but it is much better to give in. Thyroid meds get in the way of even these sleeps for me, though, leaving me no sleep till I quit taking them. Just my thoughts. As for Dr's and expensive therapy, mabye talking to someone who doesn't stand to make the big $$ from giving you said therapy(s). Guest guest
I didn't think there was anything wrong with Tate's message. To me, it sounded like all he was saying was that you should sleep when you feel like sleeping. Which may not have been related to what you were asking help for, but is related to the part of your post about having to take a nap after your IV. Just my two cents! Sounds as if you're coming from a mostly behavioral/psychogenic view about " something? " which may explain your tone. Do you have ME/CFS or know what it is? Guest guest
Hi - I am curious if you are doing fast push or slow drip chelation? Are you doing both together in the same push or drip? I know you say that the put the Glut in what I assume is either a Boost or Meyers....is that on a different day from the chelation? Kathy " davidhall2020 " <davidhall@...> Wed Feb 22, 2006 9:40 pm Hi, All. I had an interesting experience the last time I went into do another round of IV EDTA/DMPS for heavy metal toxicity. As you may know before they give you these IV pushes they load you up with a bunch of stuff via IV, mostly familiar nutrients and glutathione at 100mg --------------------------------- Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments. First the Meyer's cocktail with the glutathione. Then this is immediately followed with the fast push EDTA/DMPS chelation. I know you say that the put the Glut in what I assume is either a Boost or Meyers....is that on a different day from the chelation? ***No, same day/same hour just to be clear. Guest guest
Hi, visnew20. visnew20 <visnew20@...> wrote: > > I've been on suppositories for the past 3 years and > they have worked great for me. ***This is great to hear. When I have a bad day, the suppository relieves my headache in about 1 hour. ***Very interesting. But, I've stopped taking them everyday as my body would reject them about 45-60 min. after insertion. Now, I also cut up each piece into 3 parts. This saves money and also stops my body from rejecting them. ***Good to note. I'm curious about McGuff's comment that customers end up with oxidized glutathione. Does that mean it will be ineffective or that it is unsafe? ***Not unsafe I don't think, just that it means it would defeat the purpose. Glutathione we want in a non-oxidized form so it can grab hold of oxidating free radicals to remove from the body. I'm not clear about why McGuff can't make/deliver suppositories without this problem while places like Wellness Health Pharmacy mention no such problem. Who fills your rx for these? FYI: I've used IV's, IM shots and lipo GSH. The IVs were great but too expensive and time consuming so I only got 1 drip per month. The IMs seemed to work well (only used for 1 month), but my current dr. won't perscribe them for me. ***It's probably for the best as IMs of GSH mostly only help the muscle injected. Anyway, multiple methods do appear superior which is why I want to add the suppositories to get glutathione into the blood, cost effectively, while continuing on my RenewPro use to support my liver's production of glutathione. I've been on the lipo GSH for about 6 months and they also work well. However, unlike the suppostories, they make my headache worse so I don't take any lipo when I'm having a bad day. Also the first time I took a full teaspoon, I had a terrible relapse. ***Interesting. You may be heavy metal toxic(esp mercury) given your relapse symptom on your first try? Although apparently this didn't occur again, it just sounds to me like the relapse might have be a result of mobilization of heavy metal toxins in the brain which is a problem glutathione can cause if there is a build-up which has not been addressed by effective chelation. Have you done a heavy metal chelation therapy before? This brings me to asking if anyone here on this list > > has used these suppositories and what benefit have > > you noticed as a result? Guest guest
: Thanks for the input. I was worried that oxidized glutathione might be unsafe. But if it is just a matter of effectiveness, I can say it definitely works for me. In fact, every time I use a suppository, I have a bowel movement - very soft stool and the stench is horrible. Ironically, when I'm feeling well, my BM smells like something was stuck in my body for years. When I'm having a bad day, my BM doesn't smell at all. Lipo has the same effect, just that the BM takes a bit longer. I get it filled at Hopewell Pharmacy at $3 a piece for 250mg. For me, it seems as if the Lipo is stronger than the suppository so I only take 1/3 of a teaspoon on good days. I probably have mercury as I've got a bunch of fillings. I had a hair test done years ago which said I had high mercury. My doctor wanted me to do chelation, but the cost and time (2hr drive) prevented me from doing so. So I've just been taking chrorella and R Lipoic acid. Luckily, my last blood test showed mercury having dropped, but who knows what is stuck in the muscles. PS: The only form of GSH that didn't work for me was the regular pills. I was going to try a topical cream recommended by one of our members a few years ago, but the pharmacy didn't have any at the time. Also never tried the nebulizer. I do take ImmunePro daily.
