Please try taking some Magnesium and B6 plus some fish oil and see if these

don't help with the migraine headache.

If you can't do oral Mg, then make a paste of some Epsom salt and apply it

to your inner arm and hold it in place with a bandage.

Hope this helps

Also, my condition has been deteriorating. I have had what I think is a

migraine headache the past few days, and this is the first time I have

ever had a migraine headache. I am still itching from the rash I got at

my cardiologists office. I am too weak to take a bath, wash my hair, or

brush my teeth, and that makes me feel worse and the itching worse --

maddening really.

I wish Wessley could spend one week in my body.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I haven't viewed the DVD's, so I don't know how their quality is. I

will say that book was unpleasant (chemically). I'm sorry you have to

go through all that to get the information. :(

So very sorry about this, Jill...... I know how much a special thing can

mean, no matter what the price.

I found mine on ebay after a lot of looking. It was originally a $700

Macy's silk embroidered coverlet, sold on ebay for $109, and it was

new (I could tell by the way it was perfectly folded in the packaging,

it had never been used). Sometimes people pick these up in bulk at

outlet stores. It was beautiful and I will not find another like it

for the price, so them's the breaks.

Hi Vickie,

Diphenhydramine HCl (Benedryl) OTC, simple antihistamine, may help

short-term with rash, itches, possibly the migraine if if it's

allergy oriented. It makes most people sleepy.

I too am allergic to " printed paper " and I'd never thought about how

the introduction of soy may have affected me.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, Jill. I was sorry to hear you had to get rid of your silk

duvet. It nourishes my spirit to have something beautiful on my bed.

I am starting to wonder about Amy Yasko. If CFS support groups can

produce a reasonable quality tape of talks by Cheney and others, she

should be able to do better.

Yes I am still in mourning. The timing of it all was horrible, because

the week that I did it, they stopped working in the courtyard at 7

a.m., and it has been quiet in the mornings there, so there was really

no immediate need; and in addition, I had just purchased in the

previous 2 or 3 months a lot of new stuff--the comforter cover, a new

comforter, new wool filled pillows, a beautfiul dark wood carved chair

etc. I have moved into the smaller bedroom, and made almost everything

cream colored or white, in the spirit of minimalism, and found antique

german lace/cotton pillow covers that I ordered on the internet (I

called and made sure they did not smell " old " , but of course that is

subjective), so I will wait for spring to really air out the big one,

and I may have to get rid of a piece or two of furniture, particularly

an older one I've had for 20 years, that is pretty--cherry colored

mahogany dresser with beveled scalloped mirror attached :(, but it

seems to smell a bit like the caulk, perhaps because it was an older

wood. I never ran across a chemical like that in my life. It is really

upsetting. I cannot imagine how people who lost their homes in Katrina

must feel, or victims of mold on the list...horrible.

I think one can say from Yasko's book that she's EXTREMELY smart. But

whether testing4health is for real, I don't know, plus its all so

expensive, and then the waiting list is forever, and then she herself

is expensive. So, I'm not sure its the best way to go unless you are

rich and have a lot of time! :)

Thanx for the sympathies. Since lyme & co have set up house in my

body, I am much less active and so my home environment is so much more

important. I used to travel the world, not to mention conferences and

so on. So many that I've passed up...managed a few...found myself

really bummed out recently to see that Barry Marshall is talking at

the infectious disease conference in Lisbon in June and Lisbon looks

so beautiful...I would normally go...probably interview

him...conference fees are always covered for press...I may never see

Lisbon if I don't get more of an upper hand on this. Realizing this

was about as bad as losing my comforter I can't decide which is worse!

As a writer, you have to drink up the world and experience...and I

certainly don't want to write extensively about lyme in some poetic or

creative way!!!!
