Guest guest
Well, I've been on SeaGest for 3 days, and I have now been gas and diarrhoea free for 2 days. And my pain, stiffness, aches, heavy muscles, etc. have all lessened by about a third. I currently take Digest Gold and Mega-Zyme before each meal, and I take 2 capsules of SeaGest twice per day. I've been taking enzymes for months, so I don't think it is them. This improvement directly coincides with the consumption of SeaGest. Just FYI in case other people on this list have IBS. Oh, one other thing, you have to be careful what you eat with this protocol as the wrong foods/drinks/supplements seem to halt recovery and bring back symptoms. I am following a no-gluten, no-dairy, no-fruit, low fat diet - and I only drink H2O. Oil of Oregano capsules cause 24 hours of unbearable gas, so I avoid those (found this out on the first day). All this, of course, is anecotal and based on 3 days of subjective observation. I'll report back again after a month and give another update. Hope this helps someone, Kat. Is it possible that it isn't the SeaGest that is responsible for your recovery, but possibly that you are " Lactose Intollerant " ? I used to suffer with the same symptoms and later discovered I was lactose intollerant due to Cipro wiping out my enzymes. Take care. Guest guest
Hello, I just wanted to add that I too am having good results with Enzymedica's Digest, and Digest Gold. It is helping my digestion, and IBS. This after over a decade of suffering. They also make an enzyme product for Candida, that might be of interest. As I have said many times, using a pressure cooker helped my IBS a lot too. I cook most of my vegetables in it. It's an Aeterum. Very good quality, but pricey. You might look into that. Guest guest
The pressure cooker cooks some foods more better. I think they present to the gut wall in a friendlier fashion. Wasn't my idea. I picked it up from the guy who sells Krysalis vitamins. Best, Zippy ------------------------------------------------------------ > > I am new to all of this.. Tell me why a pressure cooker helps?
