Guest guest Posted December 26, 2005 Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 there is an Adult LDN study going on over at the LDN/Autism board if anybody wants to follow it. it is a small study and is completely enrolled, mostly - i think - with parents of Autistic children. it is a very interesting study in conjunction with Immunosciences Lab in CA. they are studying how LDN affects the immune system over a 4 month period. the immune markers being checked are listed over there but they include certain brain auto antibodies and activated Lymphocyte panels including NK cell activity (many tests that have been ID'd in PWCs too) this should be interesting to follow. the study is full, but i just had the thought that if you have a DR that would prescribe LDN, maybe contact the DR running the study and see if you can order the Blood panel from Immuno from your DR and just do the study on your own. meaning you're not officially part of the study but you are basically following all of the program elements. the DR running the study posts regularly over at the Autism LDN borad. Autism_LDN/ this is a very interesting board, and since Rich has pointed out that there may be a connection between CFS and Autism, i have really liked following their discussions. thanks bill Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
