Guest guest
Hi mjh, I appreciate all your herbal expertise. Do you know what the herbs are in 's ciguatera theory? Do they have more common names, and are there any that we might be taking anyway? Doing my unscientific finger testing I think maturase ingredient might be good. Also can you recommend a place to get seeds for lemon balm, and I was interested in chick weed, but since it is considered a weed can't find. thanks kathy Identical proteins amoung the different ciguatoxin anti-toxins : possible helpful correlations euphorbia hirta (whole plant) (decoction) : -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NADH dehydrogenase subunit F maturase ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase large subunit ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate-carboxylase NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- artocarpus altilis (leaf bud + latex) (maceration) : -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NADH dehydrogenase subunit F ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase large subunit acetyl-CoA carboxylase beta subunit -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- scaevola seircea -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- maturase ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase large subunit NADH dehydroenase subunit 1 NADH dehydrogenase cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 nitrate reductase LEAFY ATP synthase epsilon subunit cytochrome b apoenzyme NADH dehydrogenase subunit 4L -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- syzygium malaccense -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NADH dehydrogenase subunit F maturase K -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- spondias cytherea -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate-carboxylase -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stachytarpheta australis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NADH dehydrogenase ribulose-1,5-biphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase large subunit ribosomal protein subunit 2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Kathy, One of the plants is Kava Kava, you may have read 's posts on this. Artocarpus Altilis is breadfruit, which seems like it would be a good one to try. Euphorbia hirta is the only other one that's commercially available as a remedy and is also known as asthma weed. " used against asthma, bronchitis, worm infestation, conjunctivitis and dysentery. The latex of the plant is used for warts and cuts. It also has lactogenic properties. " I guess you could get plants of some of the others, but there might be the issue of toxicity. > > Hi mjh, > I appreciate all your herbal expertise.
