Guest guest
Yes, as Gail says this is not experienced as fullness or pressure in the head. What I mean is described here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploding_head_syndrome " Exploding head syndrome is a rare condition first reported by a British physician in 1988 that causes the sufferer to occasionally experience a tremendously loud noise as if from within their own head, usually described as an explosion or a roar. This usually occurs within an hour or two of falling asleep, but is not the result of a dream. Although perceived as tremendously loud, the noise is usually not accompanied by pain " It probably sounds ridiculous or far fethched to someone who hasnt experienced it, but it is very unpleasant. I think I get them specifically when taking folate(B9 vitamin). Although I may have them at other times aswell. I dont think there has been any evidence as of yet of linking this phenomenon to epileptic activity although the nature of it may suggest it to be somewhat similar. Anticonvulsants may lower folate and raise homocysteine. But it seems weird folate gives these sensations when I am indicated for folate, by metabolic analysis profile(gsdl.com) Anyhow just interested if exploding head syndrome is a common experience for people with cfs. Thanks to all that have replied so far.
