First, vitamin C acts as both an antihistamine and an antibiotic. Since your immune system has been so stimulated lately, you probably need both something to calm the immune reactions and to act as an antibiotic. 1,000 mg C every two hours up to 5 grams per day, with 15 mg zinc or zinc lozenge every 2 hours for a few days. Also, prepare a mineral drink: This is Cheney's recipe. I am not familiar with Recup. 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon potassium (can be potassium Cloride or other -- potassium capsule. 1/4 tsp potassium is 400 mg potassium.) 1 cup water 1 cup seltzer (or two cups water if you don't have seltzer) Drink half of this with the C and zinc, with 150 mg magnesium capsule. The magnesium tastes terrible so I would take it separately. Make the above recipe twice, so you have one cup mineral drink with four doses of C and zinc. This has worked for me. May not for you.
