Guest guest
, thank you for this informative post - it's one of the most interesting and hopeful CFIDS things I've read in ages. Thanks for taking the time to share this with all of us while you're having such a hard time (have back-channelled you on this). Sounds like Dr Enlander has one of the best all-round views on how everything fits in together. > He also said he is skeptical of Dr Gow's triple drug treatment which > he doesnt think exists, and if so, it will not work. When you say he doesn't think it exists - does he think there's no cocktail at all, or that it won't work?
Guest guest
I have utmost respect for Dr Gow's reseach in Glasgow, Scotland. I wrote to Dr Gow six months ago asking for details on the triple " cocktail " treatment. He told me he was not a clinician who treated patients and gave me an indication that the treatment was not currently used. Somewhere else I was told the ish group were applying for a patent for either diagnostic tests or treatment, but this was not confirmed by Dr Gow. Dr Kerr in London has asked me to help with the CFS RNA genome in white cells, to which I enthusiatically agreed. Patient specimens are taken in New York. With regard to Dr Teitlebaum's book, " Fatigue to Fantastic in Seven weeks " , I said, tongue in cheek, that I saw some of the patients in the eighth week. I know and respect his work, I said he was very expensive and did not take insurance. He is a competant doctor.
