Guest guest
hi yes i bought something that was from japan: drops u add to water to alkaize normal tap water + that also they have machine to alkalize the water and our too acidiy systems ... the drops didnt work at all but along time ago someone posted about buying a machine to help but they are super expsneive... . rite now i am taking a powder made of natural food stuffs to alkalzie my body but can only tolearte a teaspoon a day when the full dose is a tablespoon..so far i have gone from the most acidy number on my strips 5.5 to 5.8 but need to get much higher people also can alter their diet to eat more allkaline foods and avoid sugary foods and other high acid foods ..to modify their Ph levels ..loads of products out there to help with this.. the catch : which ones work !! cost!! being chroincally ill being acid is very common situation but it makes it harder for our bodys to fucntion nomrally : digestion, absorption , etc..tealk ps the best tiime to test your urine with Ph strips is in the am...... for those on vitamin d protocol : calcium citrate is a good alkalizeer but effects dont last too long. > [Original Message] > From: <bhammanuk@...> > < > > Date: 12/22/2005 1:38:04 PM > Subject: Re: product to alkalise - http://www.vivatap.co.uk > > Hi > > Ive come across a product that claims to add some minerals in tap water and > eliminate mercury/ bacteria and chlorine - product to alkalise - > _http://www.vivatap.co.uk_ (http://www.vivatap.co.uk) > > What do you folks think ? > > Regards > CS > > >
Guest guest
Eating any kind of dark leafy greens like parsley, kale, etc will do that and also some recommend the juice of 1/2 of lemon in water first thing in the morning. Do a Google seach on this, there are several sites that have a table that indicates just how much acidity/alkalinity a specific food adds to the body. Regarding tap water: I thought tap water was hard water and I thought hard water was alkaline because the 'hard part' is caused by minerals but then I haven't studied up on subject but do know I have read reverse osmosis and distilled water are acidic. > > hi yes i bought something that was from japan: drops u add to water to > alkaize normal tap water + that also they have machine to alkalize the > water and our too acidiy systems ... the drops didnt work at all but along > time ago someone posted about buying a machine to help but they are super mjh " The Basil Book " http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
Guest guest
THat's why I suggested that you find a website focused on this whole issue of acid/alkalinity. THese changes are NOT instant, change in diet or via supplementation will take some time. Guest guest
Barb Anothert way to approach this is to greatly reduce acid forming foods in your diet for at least one month and see what changes your body presents: acid forming foods include red meat meat fats white flour sugar white rice white potatoes Hope this helps In a message dated 12/31/2005 10:28:38 AM Eastern Standard Time, foxhillers@... writes: THat's why I suggested that you find a website focused on this whole issue of acid/alkalinity. Guest guest
Hi, Barb. The reason for this seeming paradox is that quite a bit of the citrate in lemons is present as sodium citrate or potassium citrate. The citrate is metabolized in the citric acid cycle of cells, and that leaves the sodium and potassium as residues, the excess of which passes into the ururine. These elements form bases in water solution, so the push the pH of the urine in the alkaline direction.
