This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each other, not to give medical advice. If you are interested in any treatment discussed here, please consult your doctor. Guest guest
Liane, Thank you for starting a list which encourages faith. Thank you for notifying those of us who are members of this list. I appreciate the work you are doing for free to help others, and certainly do not consider this an advertisement. It might be interesting to post a scientific study or two here indicating that prayer seems to relate to healing. Guest guest
http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/366162p-311612c.html Nice, objective article on the role of faith and attitude in health. I especially liked the last paragraph on gratitude. Did your mom teach you to say, " Thank you? " a
Guest guest
Sorry, I concur will a on this one! We allow other 'support' methods and lists to be posted, why should this be singled out to not be allowed? We don't advocate turning this list into a 'religious' list but if something does affect our health/wellness or support, I think people need to hear about it. We've heard about things way stranger than this, LOL Marcia Re: Chronic Faith - A New Group for those who suffer from chronic illness Liane, Thank you for starting a list which encourages faith. The idea of setting up a separate space for faith-based solutions is an excellent one. Sara
Guest guest
Hey Sara, I can't resist. You want us to stay focused on coffee enemas, right? (Please take this as the joke it was meant to be.) There have been some nice research studies on the power of prayer and positive thinking on health. I must say that after ten years of illness I find the fact that Recuperation is working for me borders on a complete miracle. I might even start a new religion with Recup as my " holy water. Guest guest
Good to hear this, Kath. People who know me will not believe I am pro something as simple as a mineral powder, but ya never know. At this point after 10 years and a lot of ups and downs I will try snake oil, na, not really, but mineral power isn't too scary. a > > a > Yes it's my holy water too..recoup is the only thing in 8 years of > trying everything that helps me the most.I'm not cured yet but I'm > not near bed bound & house bound anymore with CFS . > best wishes Kath .c. > > > > > > > I must say that after ten years of illness I find the fact that > > Recuperation is working for me borders on a complete miracle.
