Guest guest
Helen I just got a little taken aback by the charge you incured. If you took away the insurance company and people paid what they could afford these rediculously high prices can't continue. It's starting to get to the point the insurance industry and the doctor aren't on the same page and people may have to go back to the old days in which it was a pay as you go similar to what happened to you. Strep and staph are exactly identical looking bugs. coccus describes them both -streptococcus = round bacteria so does staphylococcus= round bacteria. The fact that your allergic to everything tells me your bacteria gets triggered by it's surroundings, like moldy places stimulate bacteria making them think they are under threat. Anyways good luck with your mission I just get a little tweaked by doctors that never use antibiotics, antifungals , and even viral drugs are off the menu. you'd be the first I heard that got em from cheney. It's great that we went from nothing showed as really wrong, to a point where we need transplantation due to the mess the heart is in. Does he use potassium for the heart problem? I notice this is frequently prescribed by most docs to patients with heart conditions. tony > > > > > > > > > I am back from the Cheney clinic where I got a Vivid > 7 > > > > > > > > echocardiogram > > > > > > > > > yesterday. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > The test confirmed the findings of the Impedance > > > > Cardiogaph > > > > > > that > > > > > > > my > > > > > > > > > heart function is abnormal when I am in a vertical > > > > position. > > > > > I > > > > > > > > didn't > > > > > > > > > come back with any written data from the test. Guest guest
Hi Tony, Just following your posts on bugs and antibiotics. When I take antib's I usually get pain around my heart. Is this indicative of anything do you think? I live in the UK and reply on the NHS for medical treatment. Sadly, too poor to see private doctors after over 20 years of M.E. With warmest regards, Annette ___________________________________________________________ Messenger - NEW crystal clear PC to PC calling worldwide with voicemail http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
Tony: You are right it is a lot of money and I can't afford it again. The medical situation in this country is a mess and just keeps getting worse. We will be launching two insurance appeals here this summer, since the doctor the local hospital told us to go to for the broken arm couldn't fix it, and referred us to a surgeon in Columbus who did fix it. But he's not in the all mighty network and so the insurance has declined to pay. We've got a better case on that one than on the Cheney visit, because no doctor will sit and talk to you for hours like he does. Okay, it's streptococcus and staphlococcus and they look alike. I will take your word for that as I was never able to get the microscope to focus in college biology, perhaps due to my extreme myopia, which certainly limited anything I was going to do in the lab. Uh, didn't major in science. But are they closely related? If one has strep throat, does that imply a co-existing staph infection? That's one of the things you've mentioned I'm confused about. I thought staph killed people outright in the pre-antibiotic days. My grandfather was allergic to a lot of antibiotics, all but one, so I suppose that's where I got it. But he lived to be 99 and I remember when he was 90 and I was 30, he could outwalk me because I had CFIDS and he didn't. No one will give me antibiotics, if that is the road out of here, I'm screwed. I will be taking iso-something or other as an antiviral, plus hawthorne, plus the pig heart cell material when it's available. He hasn't specifically mentioned potassium other than to take minerals in water like the Blasi salts which he was pleased to hear about and preferred it to his homebrew or Gookinaid. My potassium just tested low, so I need to address that. I wonder if it is low because I have a heart problem or because I over-urinate for whatever reason. He stressed that what would help me the most right now was magnesium and I've been doing magnesium injections, working up to one per night. It's 1/4 ml lidocaine, 1/2 ml magnesium sulfate, and 1 1/2 ml taurine. This is supposed to offset some of the damage the heart incurs, I think the free radical cascade. But he's never mentioned transplants. Whatever happened to him is different than what he is seeing in his patients, he draws that distinction clearly. Thanks for your good wishes. I will need them. Guest guest
Helen, Could you e-mail me, please? I am trying to get figure out how much I will owe Dr. Cheney this year. I believe my e-mail is visible. The instant messenger window wouldn't seem to pop up for me to send you a backchannel message (or maybe I don't know how to use this new feature?) Best, Zippy
Guest guest
I believe potassium is prescribed when diuretics, which deplete potassium, are given. Diuretics are usually used for heart failure, where there is a build-up of fluids. Adrienne Re: Cheney echocardiogram Helen I just got a little taken aback by the charge you incured. Guest guest
Helen, I'm in the same boat as Zippy, trying to figure out how many pennies to scrape together for my visit with Dr. Cheney this fall, for the impedance, echo and the usual. Could you please backchannel me at bellvictoria@...? Thank you very much! And, hello, Zippy! > Helen, > > Could you e-mail me, please? > > I am trying to get figure out how much > I will owe Dr. Cheney this year. I believe > my e-mail is visible.
