Hi Group-

I an just now regrouping from my visit with my environmental doctor, Dr Sherry

. The purpose of this visit was to review the results of my Cardio/Ion

Panel from MetaMetrix. Of all the money that I have shelled out of my own

pocket from this illness, this is probably one of the best tests that we've

done. This test costs $795.00 (US Dollars) and it's a little less for the Ion

Panel (without the cardio).

All I can say is holy smokes!!! I have done of ton of testing since I got sick

and she is not kidding...this test is unreal with the info it provides. Not

only is it pages of results but they have a incredible section that explains

each individual result and other indicators that may be related to that

specific result.

Two of the things that I now FINALLY have is my Homocysteine and c-Reactive

Protein levels. The c-Reactive was ok but the Homocysteine was bad. I am

basically one giant walking free radical. Probably no surprise to anyone.

Metals were high, as anticipated. Magnesium, Antioxidants, Aminos (particularly

Tryptophan) & EFA's all dangerously low. As a person with MCS and tons of gut

issues, they also have a section that measures the by-products of bacterias,

yeasts and hidden infections as well as by-products of non-detoxified chemicals.

All of these were also bad.

The only thing this test does not specify is Phase 1 or Phase 2 impaired. She

feels that I am probably impaired with both due to the detoxification indicators

on this test.

Dr really knows how to interpret this test and rattled off a list of 20

or so supplements that she's got me now taking. As I wade through this test and

research the results on my own, she is right on with all the stuff that she is

suggesting.

Just thought I would pass this along.

Kathy
