Keep in mind the " half-life concept " ...that what is known about CFS/CFIDS is changing at a rapid pace...it was last stated to be every 6 , then 2-3 months. I'd say it is even faster in Dr. Cheney's practice today Regarding this slide show, it appears to me that most in the first half was also told or given to me in a notebook.at my appt in April... maybe outdated, but not neccessarily incorrect. The test and treatment section is, I think more outdated. Dr. Cheney is not so much testing for " bugs " these days. Some treatments are familiar, some he may have moved away from. So, keep this in mind. The lactate/brain/MRS findings are in slides 77-82, as of 2001.
