Guest guest
I just picked up my latest blood report, haven't had one for a while due to disruptions in my life. Going to see Cheney next week and to my surprise when I asked they told me they wouldn't be drawing blood. Last time I was there they took enough to feed two vampires. So I found a new doctor here who is happy to coordinate with Cheney and had even heard of him. Got a CBC. My sed rate is 17! When Cheney tested it in 95 and 97, it was 2 or 3. I don't feel any better, in fact I am worse. What is different besides advancing age is that I no longer work, sleep more, rest more, have been through the wringer with klonopin, took neurontin to help me get off klonopin, and am now tapering neurontin. In the second year of taking neurontin I gained about 20 lbs and am now almost normal weight for my height (117, 5:6) but the gain was all lard because I cannot exercise. Could any of these things affect my sed rate? My uric acid is still low at 2.6. And I have MCHC flagged low at 32.9. Don't know what that one is, does anyone know? Despite having taken up eating red meat again a couple years ago my RBC are barely in the normal range and the WBC are nothing to write home about either. My potassium is barely over the line as well. TSH is 2.22, I think that is actually decent. Helen
