Guest guest
For the Borrelia - Cat's Claw (Sawmento) is the current choice. For the co-infecting protozoans - Artimsinin and/or Artimesia Annua See: http://www.daleglaser.com/lyme/ARGFocus_October2003Newsletter2.pdf One current 'experimental' approach is mineral-focused - Natural Salt (also kills parasites, helps control candida and helps with detox through re-hydration) See: http://kurtsprotocol.blogspot.com/2005/04/starting-saltc-protocol.html --Kurt Herbs and Homeopathics for Lyme Disease? Guest guest
Dear Trudy I do not suffer from Lyme, but get treated from a homeopath (who is my GP) for many years. Classical homeopathy is chosen individually, so what might be good for one person will do nothing in your case. There are some more experimental things around though. Best wishes
Guest guest
Hi Trudy I have been taking samento, noni extract, simba, and bromelain; now considering nattokinase as well or instead of the bromelain. Another alternative protocol is based on Jernigan Nutraceuticals products which include Borrelogen, Microbojen, Silphium laciniatum( which is the main ingredients in their Silphitrin and the Neuro- Antitox Formulas), along with the use of a systemic enzyme. This is energy based medicine which would seem to fall somewhere between an herbal and homeopathic approach. Cheers, Tansy > Hi everyone, > > Could somebody tell me what herbs and homeopathics they use for Lyme > Disease? Guest guest
Hi , I have very limited experience with homeopathic. I did try one product previously and had instant and amazing results, so I am wanting to investigate homeopathics for the treatment of Lyme disease. I did come across the following sites: Ledum homeopathic http://cassia.org/ledum.htm Ledum homeopathic for animals with Lyme disease http://www.faim.org/newslet/95-01/tobin.htm Lyme Disease http://www.healthy.net/scr/article.asp?ID=1792 By the way, have you had any noticeable improvement with homeopathic treatments for CFS? If so, which ones? I realize, like you say, that homeopathy is highly individualized. Guest guest
Hi Trudy! I did not have an over all improvement with homeopathy, even though I have a very specialised doctor. My CFS is pretty aggressive and I think I cannot blame homeopathy for that, but it was not of much help either. I sticked to the doctor because he is a very fine GP and visits me at home. Anyway, sometimes we had a little success, like a pain that disappeared or that I can leave away sleeping meds again. There are different ways of homeopathy: Classic homeopathy means that a doctor or a naturopath will listen to your whole story for about 1-3 hours (depending on the doctor and on your story) and then will try to find a single remedy that shall help your body to regain strength to heal itself. Sometimes they give also the nosode of an illness, like a homeopathic version of borrelia. In pharmacys you can often buy what is called complex homeopathy, means the most important remedys for an illness mixed together. Therefore you will be able to find a homeopathic headache remedy that should fit everyone. Classic homeopaths tend to disagree with this idea. Then there is more experimental homeopathy, like homeopathic growth factor or homeopathic interferon. I think you would be really lucky if you would find your individual remedy on your own. Anyway, I think side effects could be worse, the only thing that can happen is a very bad first reaction to the remedy or that you get symptoms of the remedy if you take it too often. Best wishes (yes, homeopathy is quite complex, I think it is like TCM, if you really want to give it a try, a professional person might be a good idea)
Guest guest
Hi Tansy, This information is really helpful. Thanks for sharing it with me. Okay, so I'm presently taking samento and noni juice (along with some other stuff). I have never heard of simba--I'll have to research that one. I do have some bromelain here. Perhaps I should add that. I know that Ken recommends it. I haven't tried nattokinase. I think that is another one Ken recommends. I know he recommends two of them, but can't remember which one is preferred. I have never heard of Jernigan Nutraceuticals, but will look into that one, as well. Today, I just added my Kardovite http://www.kardovite.com/ . It's supposed to be good for your heart. It sure is potent stuff. Just the smell of the product puts a person on the run! ;-) In fact, today I had diarrhea. It seemed like another episode of my body trying desperately to expel toxins. Thanks for these great tips, Tansy! Kind regards, Trudy Message: 3 Date: Mon, 25 Apr 2005 13:12:38 -0000 From: " tansyap " <tansyap@...> Subject: Re: Herbs and Homeopathics for Lyme Disease? Guest guest
Trudy and all: I use homeopathic Growth Hormone with great benefit. More energy, but the most specific benefit has been improved muscle strength. The brand is Biomed Comm. Site: www.biomedcomm.com Adrienne Re: Herbs and Homeopathics for Lyme Disease?
