Guest guest
Hi, . I did do the bGF/hGH protocol of Dr Cheneys under his care. It failed, but the reasons for this in hinesight seem obvious. Dr Cheney was willing to take a risk in me going for it two years back although I was not really the best type of CFIDS patient for trying it. I disagree slightly with what Al is saying because Dr Cheney has stated the best candidates for this protocol are what he describes stage 3 CFIDS patients. These are patients who, fortunately after a long ordeal/several years or decades perhaps, are for the most part over the misery component of CFIDS and are within about 30% of being completely well. The Genovations Testing in itself will not tell you if you qualify for this treatment. But their is an exception(which is what I think Al's point is about and I agree) is that one of the results of the Genovations Kit called a TNFa polymorphism test can show in some people that they are double positive, ie, homozygote for this polymorhphism. This would be a clear warning that bGF/hGH therapy may not be a safe choice for you. This is what I believe Carol Sieverling and Dr Cheney discovered about her case once her results for this test were obtained. And it is known that both bGFs and hGH at too high levels can upregulate TNFa production. This means increased joint and connective tissue inflammation and pain. Thus if you don't have the control mechanism genetically most responsible for controlling this upregulation such as a double positive TNFa polymorphism, you are a great risk for adding fuel to the fire with this therapy, fortunate stage 3 CFIDS status patient or not. And as I recollect a report from Carol back around the time she was well into being treated with this therapy, this is exactly what happened. It put her into great pain. > > One of Dr. Cheney's patients, Carol Sieverling reported a while back > that the GF/GH protocol quit working and caused problems. > Around 2 years a go a genetics lab test became available called the > Immune-System Panel by Genovations. Guest guest
Great memory , Carol posted to this group about the whole thing years ago. We've been typing about it ever since. My memory says she was doing great. The growth hormone is the last repairitive stage of the cheney protocol. Unfortunately they (paul+carol) went to fast and she crashed at the first head cold. Her immune system went into hyper-drive and screwy. Cheney later mentioned that he now has a genetic test which would have shown carol's problem and he would have progressed slower. Note that she's is still disabled. > > Hi, . > > > > I did do the bGF/hGH protocol of Dr Cheneys under his care. Guest guest
hi i found bovine factor alone which is now porcine gf helped me gain some ground..still a stadge 3 patient but better overall for taking it ...for safety reasons i would avoid natcell or atrium products ( see steve du pre posting in archive.) i have the last of my atrium brand natcells and i think the company has been less than truthful and more of a money gainging company ..i say this based on personal information also gained from knowing someone who was asscoaited with the company and no longer is part of it . plus steves invesitgations..i think their is a french product which has a better testing record at all steps of this... also when i took it i was given it the majority of days of the week which was in retrospect too much for my system... if i did it agian would take a few days off between dosages ....good luck > [Original Message] > From: Bob Joy <BobJoy@...> > < > > Date: 3/21/2005 3:46:14 PM > Subject: Re: Re: dr Cheney bovine factor/GH/ > > > Great memory , > > Carol posted to this group about the whole thing years ago. Guest guest
Hi tea lk: Could you tell us about your safety reasons for not using this products? Is it because your immune system is still not in good shape? Also, why do you say that the company has been less than truthful and more of a money gainging? As far as I know, Cheney is still BIG on atrium products and still uses them on some of his patients. Thanks, o > hi i found bovine factor alone which is now porcine gf helped me gain some > ground..still a stadge 3 patient but better overall for taking it ....for > safety reasons i would avoid natcell or atrium products ( see steve du pre > posting in archive.) i have the last of my atrium brand natcells and i > think the company has been less than truthful and more of a money gainging > company ..i say this based on personal information also gained from knowing > someone who was asscoaited with the company and no longer is part of it . > plus steves invesitgations..i think their is a french product which has a > better testing record at all steps of this... > also when i took it i was given it the majority of days of the week which > was in retrospect too much for my system... if i did it agian would take a > few days off between dosages ....good luck > > > > [Original Message] > > From: Bob Joy <BobJoy@S...> > > < > > > Date: 3/21/2005 3:46:14 PM > > Subject: Re: Re: dr Cheney bovine factor/GH/ > > > > > > Great memory , > > > > Carol posted to this group about the whole thing years ago.
