Guest guest
I have read a couple of websites on how people with CFS or fibro who had no growth hormone response normally had a good response when on this medication (its been out for many decades for myasthenia gravis). There was even a big study done at OHSU in 2004; all in google if you do a search. My question is has anyone tried it or looked into it? I have not been able to find any website that has any sort of info for it as a treatment for FMS/CFS. whats the deal?
Guest guest
I still think taking Mestinon is insane. It's pyridostigmine bromide, the drug most implicated in the creation of Gulf War Syndrome (which breaks down to fibromyalgia, CFIDS, and MCS mostly). Mestinon/PB synergizes with common pesticides (such as DEET, found in Off bug spray; organophosphates, which are in your food and everywhere else, and others) to cross the blood brain barrier and create toxic brain effects. Why on earth do they keep prescribing it for CFIDS? Peggy
