We cut the tablet with a razor knife, then hide it in his dinner - fortunately he is a simple eater - and mashed potato is a great spot to hide it as it is generally is swallowed with a minimum of chewing - so far so good, he has only bitten on it once and sure didn't like the taste! Good luck, ---------- From: Martha F. Negrete <mnegrete@...> nidsonelist Subject: hard to take medicine Date: Sunday, 14 November 1999 1:33 From: " Martha F. Negrete " <mnegrete@...> Hello listers: We just had our first visit with Dr. Goldberg, he gave us a lot of hopes, he started my two sons in Nizoral, we have no problems with the older (7 yo), he does not know how to swallow so I crush the tablet, put some liquid, it tastes awful but he is taking the whole dosage, the problem is with my other boy (5yo) he is terrible to take any medication, he cries, fights, bites, kicks. I read a message in this list few weeks ago about supositories. Does somebody have information to share with me????? Thank you very much...Martha ---------------------------
