Guest guest
How awesome to get information right when you need it! I was just going to ask if anyone has had success with treating staph. I have antibiotic resistant staph from the nasal swab, and I keep getting rosacea and boils. So I will mention the prescription creams to my doctor. Anybody know where you can buy the azelaic acid supplements? I haven't found it at my normal places. What else have people found useful for staph? Mine is resistant to many antibiotics... I found this on a website " To overcome bacterial resistance, some drugs combine a beta-lactam antibiotic and a beta-lactamase inhibitor, thus creating a stable, new compound (such as amoxicillin/clavulanate, ampicillin/sulbactam, piperacillin/tazobactam and ticarcillin/clavulanate) with good activity against Staph. A useful side benefit of these additions is the extension of the drug's spectrum to include B. fragilis, which makes the antibiotics attractive choices when anaerobic bacteria is an issue. It has therefore been used to treat acne and rosacea.
