Guest guest
Rich, Can you give us the link to your paper that you presented at the national conference recently? Your theory states that initally cortisol is upregulated in PWCs but later the adrenals become exhausted and cortisol levels are depleted? Is this correct? Thanks. Guest guest
Hi, Earnest. That's essentially correct. I think, however, that the adrenals themselves don't get exhausted in many PWCs. Rather, the problem is higher up in the HPA axis or in parts of the brain that drive the hypothalamus, such as the hippocampus. I don't think this part is very well understood yet (certainly not by me!). Here are three links to my paper: http://www.personalconsult.com/articles/glutathioneandchronicfatigue. html http://www.cfsresearch.org/cfs/research/treatment/26nf.htm or http://phoenix-cfs.org/GluAACFS04.htm Rich > > > Rich, > Can you give us the link to your paper that you presented at the > national conference recently?
