Guest guest
Hi, I'm wondering about the best method of mucoid plaque removal in an effort to rid myself of blastocystis hominis (a gut parasite which many ME/CFS sufferers have which can cause IBS) and help nutrient absorption etc. One possibility is a product such as Colosan and am wondering if this can be harmful in any way. Is anybody able to advise? From: http://www.thefinchleyclinic.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=6 " Colosan is a compound of magnesium and oxygen in which the magnesium atoms form a loose lattice onto which oxygen is bonded by a catalytic process. When taken with lemon juice or other acidic juice, that oxygen is released inside the digestive tract, producing powerful de- toxifying effects. It cleanses the bowel, and has anti- fungal /candidal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. The beneficial action is derived from the prescence of magnesium peroxide, magnesium superoxide and magnesium ozonide. " The following gives info about mucoid plaque: From: http://curezone.com/forums/m.asp?f=76 & i=3 " The plaque slows down intestinal action, both waste excretion and nutrient absorption. It can harbor pathogens, including bacteria and parasites, which actually hide underneath the plaque; it may block the normal outflow of lymph and mucin drainage. It binds toxins to itself and contributes to bowel toxicity, slowly emitting toxins into the bloodstream. " Not for the faint hearted: http://curezone.com/image_gallery/bowel cleanse/001 Best wishes, Alison
