Guest guest
I can't say that I agree. I also had high lp(a) but was able to bring it down with niacin. But then after a few years I started getting nauseated from niacin, and decided to focus on SFM which is really the problem. It came down very nicely with heparin which is a fibrinolytic. Every time I stop the heparin the fibrin goes back up; on the heparin it is fine. I can't say that I noticed immediate improvement after the fibrin was down, but over time here it is a few years later and I am 99% well. Testosterone is supposed to lower sholesterol and I always suspected lp(a) also. Doris ----- Original Message ----- I was on Heparin sub-Q for 1 1/2 years along with transfer factor and my objective findings from the ISAC never improved and neither did my symptoms. My ID doctor said that this was becoming a common incidence with hypo-fibrinolytics. Heparin really works on the wrong side of the equation. Guest guest
Just to clarify, I'm not disputing your specific results. I am just disputing it as a categorical statement. Maybe you have more thrombin defects (I have one but on the thrombin side but two on the fibrin side.) Or maybe anitphosholipid or something else going on. All I'm saying is that heparin is very effective at lowering my fibrin as measured by the ISAC. Doris ----- Original Message ----- From: Doris Brown I can't say that I agree.
