Group,

Am wondering if perhaps the following publications might be of great

help to many of you. They have been for me.

This is the site I am pasting here:

http://www.hemex.com/publications/cfs_model.php

This will take you to just one of the publications, but if you will

click on " Publications " to the left on the screen, it will take you

to several others which may be equally important to many.

Realizing my blood flow related symptoms are most probably the

origin of my long illness is certainly an eyeopener for me, and

certainly gives me focus to concentrate on this area.

Best to all,

bg

Wow thanks,

Any one tying the heparin followed by warfarin.

This model provides an explanation for the therapeutic benefits reported

with low dose anticoagulant therapy (heparin followed by warfarin) in the

majority of CFS/FM patients.

This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each

discussed here, please consult your doctor.

As you can see, Dr. Glueck is cited in the HEMEX article you've posted.

Dr. Glueck is one of the foremost authorities on hypercoagulation and

does far more extensive testing than HEMEX does. He can identify

faulty genes that predispose some people to certain coagulation

disorders. And it's all covered by insurance, whereas HEMEX testing is

not.

I know a person who has tested positive for the faulty genes which

help explain her illness (bone infection), but the expensive and

extensive HEMEX testing she had done did not catch them. She then went

to Dr. Gleuck who was able to positively i.d. the disorders for her.

When she asked HEMEX about the discrepancies, she was told they didn't

have the expensive equipment for those tests. Since her aunt died at a

young age from a stroke, she then had her daughter tested and she also

tested positive. Her daughter's tests show that she should never take

birth control pills (can cause hypercoagulation and blood clots), use

epinephrine during dental procedures (reduces blood flow), or fly in a

plane for more than 3 hours without a lovenox injection.

I'd highly recommend that anyone who's interested in getting a true

picture of their coagulation profile, contact Dr. Glueck. He's a very

friendly person who will provide a list of the testing that's needed.
