Guest guest
Carol, I am not a patient of Dr. Bihari. I wish I were since you have given glowing reports of his treatment plan. I think I still have his telephone number. Do you think he would recommend some additional things that my HMO Dr. would be unaware of? Guest guest
Steve, I don't know everything that you are currently taking. Tell me... But if you are not functioning at a reasonably high level. then you should see him. You realize that passed the acute stage an examination is usually physically unremarkable. He'd want blood tests though. His number is 212 929 4196. If I were you I would go see him in person the first time. He cares about his patients and prides himself on " listening " . He feels that doctors don't listen. Establishing that face to face meeting will make him recall you on the phone at a future visit. He is the only MD to stop my migraines, and get me to a level of functionality that is sustained enough to make me have a good, productive life. He is so genuinely happy when I tell him how well I am doing. He never stops looking for a way to improve my condition as well as asks me a lot of questions so he can learn from me about this illness. But don't get me wrong, I am still sick and I think it will be forever, but I am very happy for where I'm at and have been at for the last 6 years. Each person I knew that went to him made quite a comeback.
