Guest guest
Hi bg, I'm intrigued with Dr. Budwig's work. I'm very interested in knowing the " unbelievably good results " you got using the combination of Flaxseed Oil and cottage cheese. What changed for you and over what period of time. I've just started adding cottage cheese to my intake of flaxseed oil. The flaxseed oil alone, which I've been taking daily for months, stopped my constant migraine headaches. Research shows that it's known for that. Please tell us what the combination did for you...and did you use the ground flaxseed or the oil? Is there a difference between " golden " flaxseeds and regular? Do you add some fruit or fruit juice to the mix for better taste? (I saw that on one of the sites.) Thanks, Sandy - " bsgttx " <bsgttx@t...> wrote: > > I'm a poster girl for some > unbelievably good results using the above combination -- so good I > will be using it the rest of my life. bg
Guest guest
Hi all, Please beware that there is a possibilty of overdosing flax at long term usage. I have taken it for long term. Don't rememeber exactly how long it was but it was more than a year and I developed some problems like unmanagable hair, extreme constipation, brain problems(swelling). I am nowadays trying to correct the problem with Borage oil.If your are getting some omega 6 you may not have a problem. Best regards. Guest guest
Nil, I'm on several different oils, hopefully a good balance. (My physician who helped me with the different oils has degrees in nutrition as well as his M.D. and was one of the first licensed Holistic physicians in Texas.) These days I'm trying to adhere more to Dr. Kane, et al, recommendations (The Detoxx System Physicians Guide book). The three doctors who wrote the book think Omega 3's are being overemphasized in the media and that the body must have a certain amount of the good Omega 6 oils (actually a ratio 4:1 -- Omega 6 to 3 -- is recommended -- there is a specific oil blend they recommend), or else this leads to more inflammation in people with chronic illness. This part of the program is call " lipid replacement. " I'm not on high dose flaxseed oil. Presently just one tablespoon a day mixed into my combination with plain yogurt with other things. For people acutely ill with cancer, it is recommended to take so much for every 100 lbs of body weight. bg > > I'm a poster girl for some > > unbelievably good results using the above combination -- so good I > > will be using it the rest of my life. bg > > > > > > > > > > > This list is intended for patients to share personal experiences with each other, not to give medical advice. Guest guest
I also hope you are in good balance. My experience was terrible it cost me lot of time and energy.(And I hope it ose reversible:( )I was not using any omega 6 at that time. Only once in a while.I was cooking with olive oil virgin. That also contains some omega 3. Just one note..1 table spoon is not a small dose. omega 6 balance is important. But It is good that you have a physician to whom you can trust. He is probably making the necessary adjustments. Best wishes.. Nil Re: Need help to figure out new acid burning type symptom -to bg Nil, I'm on several different oils, hopefully a good balance.
