You may be able to find a little information and at least someone who has tried it on the wwww.cfsresearch.org/forum. Just enter acclydine into the search engine of the site. Guest guest
, Acclydine is an expensive ($5 per capsule) non-prescription growth hormone stimulator made by Optipharma in the Netherlands. The cost of the full treatment program is $1343, but there may soon be a no-cost program for patients who can't pay. To determine whether it might be helpful for you, have your IGF-BP-3/IGF-1 ratio tested (available through LabCorp or Quest). IGF-1 is also called somatomedine C. If the ratio is greater than 4.5, you have the best chance of response, but a ratio above 3.5 is acceptable (pay close attention to the units when calculating the ratio). Take 1 capsule per 20kg body weight per day, between meals in divided doses, along with amino acids, glutamine and antioxidants, for 14 weeks. Suspend treatment if infection is present, and retest the ratio every 8 weeks. Email acclydine@... for more info, or call Bob Patton in Reno at 775-828-6011. There is speculation that the inexpensive supplement lycopene may have effects similar to Acclydine. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
