Al,

There is no generic for Zadaxin. Indeed, nothing like it exists in the US since

the FDA has not approved it yet. If you buy it from China, a generic so to

speak, I would be very uncertain that it was safe or comparable to Zadaxin. I

personally don't think there is any equivalent to Zadaxin available. Immunovir

would have side effects that simply don't exist with Zadaxin.

Having said that and having been on Zadaxin for 6 months and now on Benicar at

120 mg a day for 5 days I would ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO CHECK OUT Benicar. It

quite simply works. I'll write more later, but still trying to catch up here.

Just back from seeing my Lyme specialist.

For those who want more info on Zadaxin you can visit www.rxlist.com .

The generic for Zadaxin is Thymalfasin, generics are usually much less

expensive, has anyone used the generic Thymalfasin ?

Imunovir is also an immune modulator that many CFS patients have used, so I

don't know if using Zadaxin is any better than Imunovir.

Hi Ron,

The link you provided to the Zadaxin article above was written by

a Carnes, a CFS patient. She is no longer using Zadaxin because

she is having success using the Marshall-Protocol " MP " which I am

also doing.

Zadaxin is cost prohibitive, unless your insurance would for pay it.
