I had an active EBV infection, and treated it with broad spectrum TF

and EBV specific TF. I also took turmeric.

From Medline:

" Turmeric at a concentration of 10 microg x ml (-1)exhibited the

most potent anti-EBV-EA activity, which is ten times more than

passionflower, that is next in the order of activity. "

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?

cmd=Retrieve & db=PubMed & list_uids=11884218 & dopt=Abstract

I did this for about a year, and my last PCR test came back negative

for EBV. I'm continuing with the broad spectrum TF and turmeric,

which hopefully will keep the EBV down.

Hi Laurie,

May I ask what exact test did you have for EBV?

I have asked several doctors here and they have told me that there is no

test for EBV to see if it's reactivated.

These doctors are not CFS specialists.

Cheers

Yes, and yes. It helps my flu-like symptoms a great deal.
