Guest guest
NeuroReplete has to be ordered through your doctor or healthcare professional. http://www.neuroreplete.com/ Their site is alittle difficult to navigate but if you read through it carefully it explains the importance of having the proper " balance " of amino acids and their co-factors inorder to " balance out " neurotransmitors, and why sleep meds and antidepressants over time can actually make us worse off :-/ Nat
Guest guest
> --What is nueroreplete made from?where can you find info. on this > product? thank you- It seems to be Tyrosine and 5HTP. I would be extremely cautious about taking cys-replete since cysteine is excitotoxic. " L-Cysteine is also an excitotoxin in the brain which can seriously damage brain cells. In fact, it is thought by some that L-Cysteine is the culprit in neuromuscular diseases such as ALS, MS and Alzheimer's. People with those conditions either metabolize the amino acid incorrectly or have it catalyzed by such metals as Aluminum. L-Cysteine excitotoxicity is completely blocked by Zinc which should also always be taken with it. Guest guest
>> It seems to be Tyrosine and 5HTP.>> It is NOT just tyrosine and 5HTP. These ingredients are properly balanced and are taken a specific times of the day. NeuroReplete: 1. 5-HTP 300 mg 2. Tyrosine 3,000 mg 3. Lysine 500 mg 4. Vitamin C 1,000 mg 5. Vitamin B6 75 mg 6. Calcium 1,000 mg 7. Folate 400 mcg The dosage above is divided into 2 separate doses a day, so I take this Morning and Afternoon. CysReplete: 1)Cysteine 4500mg 2)Selenium 400mcg 3)Folic Acid 400mcg The dosage above is divided into 3 separate doses a day, so I take my first dose at Noon, second dose at 4pm, and last dose before bedtime. Neuro RepleteExtra: 1) L-tyrosine 250 mg 2)5-HTP 75mg 3)Folic Acid 100mcg I take x4 the above dosage at 4pm. These formulas have helped symptoms of " Parkinsonism " , which is what I was experiencing. My doctor told me that Cysteine is a detoxifier. One has to be monitored by a doctor with experience in this while taking the above formulations. Please inform yourself before making such statements. Guest guest
I understand that this company and neuroscience were once the same and the latter broke off from the former, and eventually the former got their patents back. A friend of mine prefers the neuroreplete formulas, but their webpage really puts me off. It's so aggressive, and it starts off about weight loss. I have a friend who is being tested with the neuroscience kits, and I was thinking of that myself. But I am so sensitive that even about 1/5 of a capsule of tryptophan put me right out. I imagine I could not take these full formulas anyway, and may not need them. Plus I reacted adversely to 5htp when I took it.
Guest guest
I was also abit taken back when they referred to weight loss, but as I read further into their website they mentioned Obesity, which from my understanding does have something to do with Low Neurotransmitters in the body. Including many other disorders. http://www.neuroreplete.com/neurotransmitter%20disease.htm I did well on tyrosine awhile back, but after taking it for 2 months I had to discontinue because I had adverse reactions- my insomnia actually worsened. I don't have a problem with the high dosage of tyrosine with NeuroReplete etc. because incombo with the other ingredients it balances everything out, and I sleep well.
