Hi all,

We take a multi-vitamin/mineral in powder form, mixed with water. It has a

lot of Vitamin C in it and we worry about the acid damaging our teeth.

(I've read that people who suck on lemons, for example, eventually destroy

the enamel on their teeth.)

If we rinsed our mouths with baking soda dissolved in water right after

drinking the multi-vitamin/mineral mixture, would that neutralize the acid?

We'd use about a teaspoon of soda in about a half glass of water.

Also--would it be better if we mixed the multi-vitamin with milk instead of

water? Or if we mixed the multi-vitamin/mineral, water and baking soda all

together, would that work? Or would it damage the multi-vitamin/mineral?

We've thought about getting some pH strips from the drugstore and testing

the multi-vitamin/mineral.

I know these questions sound trivial, but we'd really like to keep our

teeth.
