Guest guest
Thanks . How long have you been on cortef? I use Baschetti's licorice powder. Some folks say that it is a very good quality licorice and hence planning to stick to it. Thanks, Gayathri. > Hi Gayathri, > I am only taking 5mg a few hours after I get up (which is usually after 11am). I have difficulty eating when I first get up and it must be taken with food. It can keep you up. Dr. Teiltlebaum recommends taking the last dose by 4:00, so I rarely get the afternoon dose in. I do notice a differece when I am off it. I was once put on a burst of prednisone by my rhuematologist. The second day I felt the best I had in years (really cleared the fog). I over did it and crashed. Natural Factors has a liver support product with licorice, milk thistle and alpha-lipoic acid. I get it on iherb. > > Good luck, >
Guest guest
Hi Gayathri, I took Cortef 10mg in the morning for 6 months and noticed no difference to my health - good or bad. We all know everyone is told their tests are normal when in fact they are at the bottom of the range of T4 or T3 or they have undetected antibodies? Guest guest
Hi Pam, I have done several thyroid tests before including the antibodies. It was all normal , dont remember the numbers exactly. Recently my doctor wanted to do the thyroid panel again, so have tested it again. will see how it turns out. My doctor is open to giving me armour. I never had low basal temperature too. So I am suspecting my thyroid might be okay. Thanks, Gayathri. --- In , " doggy532001 " <> > Hi Gayathri > > Are you positive your thyroid is ok?
