Zithromax an elastase inhibitor

This is a good question. My experience was that I relapsed off Zithromax in

about 3 months. That would LOOK like an elastase inhibitor, but then the

other side of that is that I was still infected with borrelia and probably

babesia. We absolutely know I still had borrelia. So was the Zithromax

keeping it under control but not killing it off? Who knows? I get sick of

saying this, but until we have better tests how can you tell?

Antibiotics were found to have other effects. Dr. Goldstein had

stated in the past that antibiotics have a Neuro-regulatory effect.

Alan Coccheto of the NCF reported that beta lactam type antibiotics

are Elastase Inhibititors and that why CFS patients were feeling

better ONLY while taking them.

So the question now is, are you feling better because the

antiobiotics are killing off something or beacuse of

Dr. G's " Neuroregulatory effect " or because of the Elastase

inhibiting effect ?
