Q: Can you share any more information about the " un-named " research

group mentioned in the NCF's work with STAT1?

A: Yes, the NCF contacted Dr. Suhadolnik, at his residence,

two days after learning about the role of STAT1 in CFS.

Kaiser, a long-term PWC and staunch advocate for the NCF, placed

a call to Dr. Suhadolnik since they were long-time friends.

Dr. Suhadolnik contacted the NCF and numerous phone conversations

took place. The NCF shared the patent and other data with

Dr. Suhadolnik, who was thrilled that the NCF brought this to

his attention. Though Dr. Suhadolnik contributed a chapter to

Dr. DeMeirleir's book, he missed the STAT1 work! The NCF then

sent Dr. Suhadolnik a check for STAT1 research.
