Guest guest
Hi, I have been sick with CFS/chronic lyme for 8 years... I had my amalgams out 2 years ago. Any attempts at using L-glutathione, glutathione pre-cursors, Dr. Teitelbaum's vitamin/amino powder, Immunocal, ALA etc. even at very low doses have always made me significantly worse (extreme fatigue, headaches, brain fog, chest discomfort, etc.), and for an extensive period of days or weeks even after stopping. I also tried Cholestyramine without relapse, but also without results. So far I've learned: 1) Despite apparently moving into " Phase 3 " in recent years I'm still VERY toxic (either mercury and/or biotoxins); 2) My glutathione status is lousy, but any past attempts to fix it makes me worse; 3) Even the most cautious attempts at detox always over-mobilizes/redistributes the toxins doing much more harm than good and makes me feel like I did 3 or more years ago ( " Phase 2 " ). QUESTIONS CHLORELLA: Among other things, the most recent protocols recommended by Dr. Klinghardt and Dr. Cheney both feature Chlorella. However, they have opposite recommendations for preventing relapse. Dr. C urges one to start with a single tablet daily for a month or more (some of his patients could not even tolerate 2/day initially) and VERY gradually increase over a period of a year to 15/day. Dr. K suggests starting out around 15/day and claims that it is in fact LOWER doses in his experience that precipitate relapses due to inadequate quantity of chlorella in the intestine to bind the mobilized toxins. I'd like to try it, but would like to avoid another lengthy detox relapse. Any suggestions? Anyone had experience and/or success with Chlorella who previously very sensitive to detox? IMMUNOCAL: Last time I tried Immunocal (prior to amalgam removal) I started with 1 tsp/day the first week and VERY gradually increased, but still eventually quit due to increased fatigue brain fog, etc. Has anyone else who had trouble tolerating Immunocal had any success in baby-stepping it SUPER slowly by say 1/8 or 1/4 tsp. weekly increments? Has anyone ever improved on Immunocal who initially had problems tolerating it? I'd appreciate any light anyone can shed on the above. Thanks, Jim
Guest guest
I don't like the whey products and don't react well to them. Many people don't. I like more natural forms, such as those in raw goat's milk which I tolerate great except its too sugary.
