I have no idea why your blood levels are normal but that doesn't mean anything

anyhow.

It has been determined that 60% of people w. chronic fatigue have normal blood

levels, but are deficient in their cerebro-snial flud. Never mind the tests.

TAke some, and see if it helps. If your doc really hesitates, ask him if he is

willing to communicate w, docs. who are giving it. Or with the owner at

McGuff's.

Your doc should be willing to give you one shot, same as is given to pregnant

women. There is no known toxic level to b12.

B 12 eleveated levels without suppliments and

normal folate levels " Rich " thanx

hello,

For the second time in many years i was tested for b12 levels and

they are elevated ..it dosent make sense to me as i hardly ate meat for about

eight years of this illness, havent taken any form of b12 in years ( had used

sublinguial methyl b12 from immunosupport for a short while than stopped )

intolearnt of subcutaenous b12( makes me hyper) My folate levels are normal and

my blood cells are normal except for lowered lymphocytes(new ) .. I also

wondered if the fact i have so many digestive promblems with being chronically

ill if i am not secreting enuf intrinsic factor to utilize the b12 and /or my

stomach pH is so off due to multiple pathological overgrowth of stuff..

anyone have the same promblem or any idea what this all means.

thanx in advance.

My B12 levels were always elevated too (before I started taking it as a

supplement). But I still was helped dramatically by B12 shots. They say our

bodies can't use it right. They can't get it to the places it needs to be, so

you have to swamp the body with it to be able to use some. At one point I

wondered if I had pernicious anemia because I had permanent gastritis and my

stomach lining was eaten away (they scoped me and said I had no folds in my

stomach.) Then I got antibiotics and my stomach problems finally went away.

But then I got CFS. Is there a connection?

I will forward you some articles that have been posted in the past about B12.

Doses of 20g have been shown safe. 987 is not high at all; my blood was often

1200 before taking B12 shots. Once when I had been taking 1mg a day shot for a

while, my dumb doctor ordered a B12 level. He was clueless about this, I'm

surprised he gave me the prescription. The lab called and was confused because

my levels were so high that they thought something was wrong with their

equipment. Duh!

Anyway the B12 injections made a huge difference in my cognitive function.
