Hello - Is anyone utilizing the heparin injections to treat

hypercoagulation? I would be interested in hearing about your

experiences, results, length of herxing times, etc.

Did you encounter the heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT)

complication? If so, how soon did it happen?

Thank you.

I posted to this list a few months ago, an article about the dangers

of Heparin. It said it can cause a certain form candida; for that

reason I never used it. Use the search window on this list for it by

searching under Heparin.

I have taken it on and off for about 4 years. Probably about half that time in

total. My fibrin gets better, I stop, my fibrin builds back up. I do much

better with it. I have constant infections and it helps me treat the infections

better. My OI is not as bad either as my blood is flowing with it. I never

herx'd from the heparin.

No I haven't had HIT; I believe it is extremely uncommon. I never heard of

anybody actually getting it, just some people warning about it. But I am not a

doctor.
