Guest guest
I'm pretty sure I headed off a cold (conceivably flu) with a Zinc Gluconate lozenge, dissolved into the Grossan Irrigator. I had a bump of inflammation on one side, high in the back of my throat, which normally would have grown and spread all the way across. I made sure the solution reached it, and it went away in a day or two. The zinc lozenges work topically, so this would be similar to that. Question: All the recommendations for the lozenges say to use them only for a few days. I am assuming the reason for that is you are taking to zinc internally, but in this case I am not-it flows right out. So I am adding zinc to my regular irrigator mix, thinking it would make things hard for viruses in general, on an ongoing basis. Any insight pro or con about my interpretation of this? I treated by keeping a bit of the root of Porter's lovage in my mouth for about 10 mins. Gone immediately, both times. I keep some in my purse every winter. HAve been using it for years, Adrienne
