I do. I had it when I was a few months old, then it went away for a bit and

from grade school on I've been plagued with it. I'm 46 and the last

dermatologist I saw also had it--if he couldn't cure himself, there isn't a

cure. I

have had lots of creams, ointments,... and the only thing that really takes the

itch away now is Benadryl--which I'm having a hard time finding in (Canadian)

stores now. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, I break out whenenver

and whereever.

I have no treatments to share with you. Oatmeal baths and glyercerine soaps

did nothing for me. Sometimes my Rx creams burn my skin--depending on the

severity of the breakout.

I would appreciate feedback if you hear from others...Sue

I have eczema. It is treated with the topical steroids Eumovate and

Trimovate depending on the 'wetness' or spread.

Hi Nil

I had severe eczema as a child and the skin also used to crack and bleed at

wrists, heels and knees. I was born with eczema all over my body and was

always very allergic to soaps etc.

Since I have stopped eating dairy foods I have not had any eczema at all. Many

times I have heard of people's eczema being caused by either dairy foods or

wheat/gluten. So that may be worth looking into.

If it is itchy, try cornflour, or cornstarch they call it in USA. It really

helps. Just rub it on like you would talcum powder. It really is very

effective. It helps for heatrash too.

I don't know if you followed up on the EFT, but that has very good results too

for skin complaints. There can be with eczema a stress/emotional trigger. So

what was happening just before you got the eczema?

It's worth trying the EFT on it. We have used it with psoriasis with excellent

results.

Yesterday, I burned my fingers and thumb rather badly on a hair straightener I

didn't realise was switched on. It started blistering and really hurt. I did

EFT on it and went to bed. In the morning it was only a little red and there

was only the slightest sensation in my thumb to remind me I had injured it. I

am sure the EFT made an enormous difference, based on past burns I have

experienced.

Let us know how you get on with your eczema.

Good luck with it,

Warm regards,

Jan (Australia)
