The Flu/Bacterial Infections/Flu Medications

I was reading that deaths from the flu happen because of bacterial

infections. Does this mean like staph, strep, pneumonia? Are there others? Which

things would be best for us to do/take to protect, prevent or treat bacterial

infections? (please say if they are or are not sulphur connected)

Also, a few years ago, when I had rapid onset of a killer flu, I was given

Amantadine with good response. So my doctor gave me a prescription of it (twice

a day for 5 days) to have on hand. Does anyone know if it would have a

preventative effect, or just good at onset? I thought it only addressed one

strain of flu and I do not know if that kind is here this year.

There are a couple of other flu drugs too. (He gave me this because I have

previously taken it) Maybe they are worth looking into for others, before

supplies run out.

Thank you

Katrina
