Help I've been staph'ed

Hello,

Consider me paranoid. After 5 years of disability (CFS/Lyme) I worry

about everything health related, its my job...So I was teaching

meditation in the local county Jail (its good for my Karma) and there

is this Staph infection going around the jail, not thinking I shake

hands with one of the inmates. Three days later and after washing

that hand not more than 5 minutes after the handshake, I get a pimple

and then a sore. Before it oozes I spend $200 for Leviquin and a

visit to the local clinic. I have no health insurance. Happy Happy

Today, over three weeks from the event I still have a slight wound

remnant of the " pimple. " I've been feeling crappy lately and have

basically lost much of my sexual/intimate appetite as well as having

virtually no resistance to any exercise...So I get on the web and

start to research Staph: Scary stuff:::

Anyway I also find evidence of jails being particularly infested with

the stuff (type in " Jail Staph " in google for much more:)

Is it me or is it possible that the world of genetic engineering

could use skin transferred Staph to insert genes to cause other

effects? Is it me or is it possible that chronic Staph or some

similar genotype be an important part of treating our condition?

What do I do about this?

What can I do to find out what the real deal is with this staph infection?

Is there anyway to determine if " my " brand of staph is doing anything

else in my system? Am I contagious? AND the bonus question: IF you

were obsessed with keeping Jailed inmates from having sex with one

another could you produce a genetic engineered Staph infection that

messes with one's sexual response?

Thank you for your reply. It is possible that my sexual " connection "

may be incorrect. I am interested though if you have any experience

with the incarcerated population. I've been working in the system for

over a year and am still learning about the process. Based upon my

reading and experience, the jailors do care about sexual relations

between prisoners.

What ever the motivation, either intentional or circumstantial I have

caught some sort of skin to skin staph or staph-like infection. The

links below offer a compelling case for the use of staph as a carrier

of genetic material and there is ample evidence that incarcerated

populations have and are being used for biological testing. A famous

one was the Huntsville Tx prison where there was an outbreak of Gulf

War Syndrome. It is unlikely that more information about such health

issues will be publicly available though due to privacy laws that

seem a bit too convenient for the jail authorities.

What are the tests for Staph? Where can I get them? What should I do

with this sore that is still on my hand? Is it contagious? What do I

really have?

probably they don't give a s--t how much sex the inmates have w. each

other. Yes, you are being paranoid, IMHO.
