Guest guest
hi all , actually yellow backgroud with black type is easier on the eyes than a black and white combination. ( it takes alittle more work to get . i dont have xp but i know in the control panel under display >>> appearance u can change your backrounds thruout your computer. i have had yellow backrground with black type for years and the easiest on my eyes.( black and white too stark imho) I also use full spectrum bulbs: chromolux brand : get thru hardware stores, health food stores and some catalogues like someone posted, .....they are much easier on the eyes, last me about two years each but are more expensive than your average lite bulb( more yellow than white which makes it easier on the eyes but u dont see any distortion while using them) somish
Guest guest
Thanks. I tried again. The background for docs is called " window " and there's a colour that looks like another white in the sample squares but is in fact a gorgeous parchment colour. I've chosen " maple " for the surrounds, which matches beautifully, and it's important with XP to download Cleartype from the MS site. That's me fixed.
